The Rutland West Germanic Academy is set up in the name of S.C. Anderson's West Germanic constructed language, which began as Piscean. The organisation also stands for the conservation of the mother tongue and preservation of culture through the maintenance of a national language.
RWL stands for Rotelands Wessgermønsz Lorhaus, the name of the organisation in the

CURRENT
West Germanic has been entered into the 2010 Conlang Relay. Its leg is scheduled to begin on the 20 February, where S.C. Anderson will translate from Karrev after which the West Germanic text will be translated into Khangaþyagon.
A conlang relay is a translation game involving conlangs. It is similar to the game called by names such as Telephone or Chinese Whispers, where a message is whispered from person to person, often in the process being changed beyond recognition. Instead of by whispers, in a relay the text is passed by translation: it is translated from the conlang it is received in, into one's own conlang, and then passed to the next person to be translated.
